This is the top of a katheder, a thing behind which someone can stand and have their say.
This is part of a job in which I had a share, this being a small part. The top onto which one would spread the paperwork with the things that need to be said (...) is made of black epoxy with shreddered silver-plated cutlery, after which I sanded it open. After that I poured the sides, back and the little piece so the papers won't fall off.
